Rent the Easyrig Gimbal Kit in Canada — the DJI RS 3 Pro Combo on a Tilta Advanced Ring Grip, hung from an Easyrig Minimax so the weight sits on your hips instead of your arms. It’s built for long days of gimbal work on music videos, weddings, commercials and documentaries. The kit includes:
- DJI RS 3 Pro Combo — with BG30 battery grip, RS Focus Motor, Focus Wheel, RavenEye image transmission, quick-release plates, lens support, briefcase handle, tripod and case
- Tilta Advanced Ring Grip — with top and bottom grips, remote control handle, dual-channel wireless lens control handle, wireless receiver and soft case
- Tilta Power Supply Module for Ring Grip and Tilta V-Mount Battery Plate for Ring Grip
- Easyrig Minimax with Quick Release
Kit showing as unavailable for your dates? That usually means one item in the kit is already booked — the rest may still be free. Check the RS 3 Pro Combo, Advanced Ring Grip and Easyrig Minimax individually (plus the power module and V-mount plate above), book what’s available in one order, and we’ll pack it together. If one piece is out, ask us about an alternative.
Why this combination works
- The Easyrig Minimax carries 2–7kg of rig on a vest and support arm, so you can hold a gimbal shot for minutes, not seconds
- The RS 3 Pro handles a 4.5kg tested payload — enough for cinema-style bodies like the FX6 or R5 C with a lens
- The ring grip gives you two-handed control from any side, including low underslung angles, with gimbal and camera controls on the handles
- Focus motor, focus wheel, wireless lens control and RavenEye transmission are all included, so you can pull focus and monitor remotely
Our thoughts
“This is the rig I’d build for a full day of gimbal work. The Easyrig takes the load off your arms, the ring grip gives you real control at any height, and the RS 3 Pro carries a proper cinema camera without breaking a sweat. You get smooth, confident moves from the first take to the last.”

Q&A
The kit says unavailable — can I still get this gear?
Probably. A kit only shows as available when every item in it is free, so one booked piece is enough to block it. Check the RS 3 Pro Combo, Advanced Ring Grip and Easyrig Minimax listings separately, book the pieces that are free, and get in touch if you need a substitute for the one that isn’t.
How does the Easyrig work with a gimbal?
You wear the Minimax like a backpack with a padded belt. An arm rises over your shoulder and a suspension line hooks onto the top of the ring grip, taking the rig’s weight onto your hips. You adjust the tension to match your setup, then steer the shot with your hands. The quick release lets you unhook in a second to go fully handheld or set the rig down.
Which cameras will it carry?
The RS 3 Pro is rated for 4.5kg, so it takes most mirrorless and compact cinema bodies with a lens — an FX6, FX3, R5 C or similar. Add up your camera, lens, and any monitor or microphone on the gimbal. If you’re close to the limit, tell us your setup and we’ll check it balances.
Do I need a V-mount battery?
Yes, if you want to run the rig through the ring grip’s power supply module — the kit includes the V-mount plate but not the battery. Add a V-mount battery to your order.
Can I pull focus and monitor wirelessly?
Yes. The RS Focus Motor drives the lens, and focus can be controlled from the Focus Wheel or Tilta’s wireless lens control handle. The RavenEye transmitter sends a live feed to a phone in the Ronin app, so a director or client can watch the shot, and it also lets you control the gimbal remotely.
Can I shoot low, underslung angles?
Yes — that’s one of the ring grip’s strengths. You can hold it from any of its four sides, so moving from eye level to just above the ground is quick, and both hands stay on the rig throughout.
