Do you deliver RED cameras across Canada?
Yes — we ship RED cinema cameras and accessories by courier anywhere in Canada, with guaranteed overnight delivery to most locations, and we provide a return label for an easy send-back. You can also collect from our base in Canmore, AB.
Do RED cameras come ready to shoot, or do I need accessories?
RED bodies are modular “brick” cameras, so a typical setup adds V-mount power, fast media (RED PRO CFexpress), a monitor, and a base plate or cage. We can build a complete, shoot-ready kit — just tell us the project and what you already have.
What lens mount do RED cameras use?
The KOMODO-X has a locking Canon RF mount that also adapts to EF and PL cine glass; the V-Raptor is available in different mount configurations. Tell us your lenses and we’ll make sure you have the right mount or adapter.
What media do RED cameras record to?
RED bodies record REDCODE RAW to RED PRO CFexpress cards. We stock 1TB and 2TB cards — for 8K RAW we recommend bringing plenty of capacity, which we can add to your order.
Is there a deposit or insurance requirement?
Most orders need no deposit for verified members. As these are higher-value cinema kits, some rentals may have specific requirements (which can include production insurance) — we’ll always make these clear before your rental is confirmed.
