Buying guide
Which Canon lens should I rent?
01
Wide-angle

For landscape, interiors and astro, the RF 15-35mm f/2.8L or ultra-wide RF 10-20mm f/4L.

02
Standard zoom

The RF 24-70mm f/2.8L covers most jobs; the RF 28-70mm f/2L adds a stop for low light.

03
Telephoto & wildlife

The RF 100-500mm L, RF 200-800mm, or the pro RF 100-300mm f/2.8L for reach with light to spare.

04
Primes & portraits

The RF 50mm f/1.2L and RF 35mm f/1.4L VCM deliver gorgeous separation in low light.

05
Macro, cine & EF glass

Close-up with the RF 100mm Macro, or shoot EF classics like the EF 70-200mm f/2.8L on any RF body with an EF–EOS R adapter.

Canon lens rental FAQ

What’s the difference between RF and EF lenses?
RF lenses are the native mount for Canon’s EOS R mirrorless bodies, while EF lenses were made for Canon DSLRs. EF lenses work on RF bodies with an EF–EOS R adapter, but RF lenses do not fit DSLRs.
Can I use EF lenses on my RF mirrorless body?
Yes — with an EF–EOS R mount adapter (which we rent), EF and EF-S lenses work on any EOS R body with full autofocus and stabilisation. Just add an adapter to your order.
Do you rent extenders and teleconverters?
Yes — we stock Canon RF 1.4x and 2x extenders to add reach to compatible telephoto lenses. Browse our teleconverters.
Which lens fits my Canon camera?
If you shoot an EOS R-series mirrorless body, choose RF lenses (or EF with an adapter). If you shoot a Canon DSLR, choose EF lenses. Not sure? Tell us your camera and we’ll confirm the fit.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Most orders need no deposit for verified members. Some higher-value lenses may have specific requirements, which we’ll always make clear before your rental is confirmed.
