Rent the Nikon Z6 III in Canada — a hybrid all-rounder that borrows its brains from Nikon’s Z8 and Z9 flagships. The world’s first partially stacked full-frame sensor and internal RAW video make it punch well above its class for both stills and film work. Key points:
Internal 6K 60p N-RAW and ProRes RAW; 4K up to 120p; 10-bit 4:2:2; N-Log
Up to 20 fps RAW (60 fps JPEG) with Z9-derived subject-detection AF; Pre-Release Capture
Up to 8-stop in-body stabilisation; the brightest, highest-res EVF Nikon has made (4000 nits)
Our thoughts
"The Z6 III is the camera we point people to when they want flagship capability without the flagship price. The partially stacked sensor and EXPEED 7 processor mean it inherits the autofocus and subject tracking from the Z8 and Z9, which is a genuine leap over the old Z6 II. For video shooters the headline is internal RAW — 6K N-RAW and ProRes RAW recorded straight to a card, no external recorder needed, which is rare at this level. The viewfinder is also superb. It’s a brilliant do-everything body for events, weddings, wildlife and serious video. Worth knowing: 4K 120p uses a DX (Super 35) crop, and you’ll want a fast CFexpress Type B card for the RAW formats."

Yes — one of the Z6 III’s biggest draws. It records 6K N-RAW and ProRes RAW internally to a CFexpress card with no external recorder needed, which is unusual at this level. It also does 10-bit ProRes 422 HQ and H.265 internally.
Yes — 5-axis in-body stabilisation rated up to 8 stops, with focus-point VR that stabilises around your subject. It makes handheld stills and video noticeably steadier.
Yes — 4K 120p uses a DX (Super 35) crop. 4K up to 60p is available across the full frame (oversampled from 6K). Factor the crop into your lens choice if you plan to shoot high-frame-rate 4K.
Yes — with an FTZ II adapter, which we rent separately. Most F-mount lenses then work with full autofocus and stabilisation. Native Z-mount lenses fit directly with no adapter.
It has one CFexpress Type B slot and one UHS-II SD slot. For 6K RAW and the highest bitrates, use a CFexpress Type B card; SD is fine for lighter formats and stills. We can add suitable cards to your order.
