Yes — this version includes the full RAW License, which unlocks internal 8K Apple ProRes RAW (and ProRes 4444 XQ) recording for professional workflows. There’s nothing extra to activate on your end.
RAW and ProRes 4444 XQ record to DJI PROSSD media (a 1TB PROSSD and mount are included). CFexpress Type B cards can be used for recording up to 4K. For long or high-bitrate shoots, consider adding a second PROSSD.
The Zenmuse X9 uses DJI’s lightweight carbon-fibre DL lenses (24, 35, 50mm and more). Interchangeable mounts let you use Sony E and Leica M lenses, and PL/EF adapters are available too. Tell us your preferred glass and we’ll set up the right mount.
On top of the usual 3-axis gimbal, the Ronin 4D adds vertical (Z-axis) stabilisation that cancels the up-and-down bounce of walking. The result is dolly-like smoothness handheld, so you can get moving shots that would normally need a dolly, Steadicam or extra rigging.
The LiDAR rangefinder projects tens of thousands of ranging points to measure distance, giving fast, accurate autofocus — even in low light and even with manual lenses. Combined with ActiveTrack Pro it makes solo focus-pulling far more reliable.
