The FX30 is the camera I point new filmmakers and small crews to when they want real Cinema Line features without the full-frame price — it shares S-Cinetone and the FX-style body, has IBIS, and cuts together beautifully with an FX3 or FX6 as a B-cam. The one thing to keep in mind is the Super 35 (APS-C) sensor: your lenses are effectively 1.5x tighter and it’s a touch less capable in very low light than the full-frame FX3.
