Rent the Landscape Photo Kit for Canon in Canada — the 45MP EOS R5 Mark II with the ultra-wide RF 10-20mm f/4 and the RF 24-70mm f/2.8, covering everything from sweeping vistas to tighter, layered compositions. The kit includes:
Kit showing as unavailable for your dates? That usually means one item in the kit is already booked — the rest may still be free. Check the R5 Mark II, RF 10-20mm and RF 24-70mm individually, book what’s available in one order, and we’ll pack it together. If one piece is out, ask us about an alternative.
Why this pairing works
- 45MP stacked sensor for detailed, large prints and room to crop
- 10mm rectilinear ultra-wide keeps horizons and tree lines straight, with strong foreground-to-background depth
- 10–70mm covered across two lenses — wide vistas, then tighter layers, details and travel shots
- Up to 8.5 stops of in-body stabilisation for sharp handheld shots in fading light
Our thoughts
“This is what I’d take to a lakeshore at sunrise. The 10-20 lets you put a rock or a wildflower right in front and still get the whole peak in, and the 24-70 picks out the layers and light once the sun is up. With 45MP on the R5 II, the files hold up beautifully for big prints.”

Compatibility & what you might add
- A sturdy tripod is the one accessory most landscape shooters shouldn’t go without — for long exposures, bracketing and low light.
- The 24-70mm takes 82mm screw-in filters — a polariser or ND is a strong pairing for water and skies.
- Cold mornings drain batteries quickly: add a spare battery, and an SD card from our memory range for the second slot.
- Shooting the night sky? Add the brighter RF 15-35mm f/2.8. For compressed mountain layers, the RF 100-500mm is a favourite.
Q&A
The kit says unavailable — can I still get this gear?
Probably. A kit only shows as available when every item in it is free, so one booked lens is enough to block it. Check the R5 Mark II, RF 10-20mm and RF 24-70mm listings separately, book the pieces that are free, and get in touch if you need a substitute for the one that isn’t.
How do filters work with the 10-20mm?
The 10-20mm has a curved front element, so there’s no front filter thread. Instead it has a holder at the rear for cut gel filters, which is how you’d add an ND. The 24-70mm takes standard 82mm screw-in filters and comes with a UV filter fitted. If you’re planning long exposures, tell us and we’ll help you set up the right filters.
How wide is 10mm?
Very wide — roughly a 130° diagonal view. Because the lens is rectilinear rather than fisheye, straight lines stay straight, so horizons, tree lines and buildings don’t bend. It’s at its best when you get close to a strong foreground subject.
Does the R5 Mark II help with focus stacking and bracketing?
Yes. It has built-in focus bracketing for front-to-back sharpness, auto exposure bracketing for high-contrast scenes, and an interval timer for time-lapses. Set it on a tripod and the camera does the repetitive work.
Which card does it use?
The kit includes a 128GB CFexpress Type B card, which handles every stills and video mode. There’s also a UHS-II SD slot, so you can add an SD card to back up each image as you shoot.
